At this point, the idea of the Rich Urban Biker is out-dated as many of them have learned how to blend in. At some events they’re more the norm than the exception. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you may qualify. Either way, it’s worth a chuckle.
I have to claim a little bit of hypocritical attitude, because even though I started out pretty down and out and could fit everything I owned (including my beloved chopper) in the back of my truck, at this point things are much better than I ever imagined they could be. By no means am I rich, but if I saw it through the eyes of the 20 year-old long haired hippy biker I once was, I’d have to disagree.

I’m definitely a wrench it, then ride it type of guy. Just a bad habit I picked up 35 years ago I guess. http://bit.ly/9lzygj
You had a truck?!!!!….live’n high man.
Was checkin’ out the Rubbie’s cell phone… think he gets mobile versions of any cool webcomic sites on that thing??
Nah, Jimmy, the IPhone app isn’t available yet, and that thing don’t “i”. It will, however, show up on mobile web I think?
I have a rub shirt I wear at times. On the back it says,” 25 years ago you didn’t like us, now you want to be one of us. On one sleeve it says” F you now, the other says F you then.” I get some looks. Easy to spot the Credit card “bikers”, they keep looking, lol.
Funny thing is, I got the idea for this from my insurance agent, and the dude in the strip looks like him. My agent, however, rides a lot of miiles every year and is the farthest you’d find from a card carrying Rubbie.
Thanks for poppin’ in–hope you come back again.
