And then it’s gone.

I’m reading a book I picked up the other day, American Biker, by Bill Hayes.  It discusses a lot of stuff about the biker lifestyle, from its origins to the nature of it to the clubs. In particular it talks about LEO clubs, clubs for law enforcement officials.  According to Hayes, It seems that some of the early cops who started riding Harleys actually caught some crap for it from their departments.  Now there are a number of LEO clubs, including the Blue Knights and Wild Pigs to name a few.

This little strip was aimed at the Harley riding cop, really, as are a few more down the road.  The Rolling Stones, after all, claim that “every cop is a criminal” in “Sympathy for the Devil”.  Ain’t nobody perfect, and we all have a job to do.  In some way I put these two guys opposite each other for comparison, but in the end it’s about the irony and all the comedic possibilities it raises.  This little piece ain’t over yet.
