I didn’t plan to get political when I set out to write stories for this week’s strips. And, in fact, I won’t, outside whichever direction you’d like to run with this–and you can use it to support a variety of conflicting viewpoints.
Other than that, I steadfastly refuse to do politics in this strip or blog. Jones is a big tent, meaning there’s room for everyone here. Rather not create anything that distracts from the strip in a divisive way.
While I’ve got your attention, my pal Bobcat did a few guest posts on Wet Weather Riding that are worth the read. Bobcat has logged more miles than I care to think about and knows a thing or two about surviving in the saddle.
Next he plans to write a few more pieces on rides around the San Francisco Bay Area. Not a Bay Area rider? I’d love to get more guest bloggers involved here to share their favorite rides. Contact me for more information.

Man, sounds exactly like my town…
The state troopers tried to generate revenue like that at my local rally and the judge wound up throwoing out almost all the tickets that were written that weekend
No such things as ticket quotas ;~)
