On Star Trek all the folks on the Starship Enterprise seem to have their poop in a group. They fly through space with all kinds of technology, and aside from a few basic interpersonal issues, they appear to be highly evolved. All the morons with issues of one kind or another get left on Earth, or are encountered on other planets. Some, of course work on other ships, but for the most part, the assumption is that, even for the evil enemy types are focused and motivated enough to keep their feelers open, their curiosity awake.
Some heroes just aren’t hero material.
Sorry to have lacked any updates last week. Also, if you’re an RSS or email subscriber, let me know if it’s working. There’ve been some changes to my site that appear to have effected the workings of my subscription system. I hope to get it worked out as soon as possible.

I never thought about that, but you are surely right. Even if we are dealing with these aliens. Question is, do you think they have enough booze on board for Jones even to get started?
Rob, the RSS feed isn’t working yet. Mine still feeds “What’s Your Sign” from a year ago. I’ve tried to refresh it, but that doesn’t change anything. On another note, are we starting a pool on whether Jones finds the equivalent of 10 Forward?
I need to contact the guy who made this theme and plugins. I think I know what the issue is, but I’m going to have to ask him how to fix it.
I had to look up 10 forward, apparently a reference to the bar on deck 10 of the Enterprise. I’m not telling if that’s where we are headed, but if it was, we’d have a hard time leaving, wouldn’t we?

Yeah, I figured out which wires to connect. Now I just have to figure out how to filter out all of the non-comic posts. And maybe make the size of the feed comic bigger-I noticed that it’s just thumbnail size. Which is nice because, in a perfect world, it brings you back here, but in a real world, sometimes makes you not willing to click. I subscribe to a few strips by email, and the ones I like best I can read in the email.
Just had 8 posts show up at once on Google Reader, looks like the problem is solved.

Not sure if you think the smell of a dealership is good or not.
I remember going to the local dealership in Santa Rosa about 1986 or 1987. I was in college at the time. I dug the sort of rough feel of the place, the ash tray on the counter, the sense that a party might break out there after hours, the smell of parts and solvent and grease and gas.
A few years later is seems all the dealerships got homogenized, given the same design specs. Kinda bummed me out, because the dealerships all lost their individual uniquenesses and flavor. So naturally, Jones feels the same way.
