iPhone App
For you gadget folks with iPhones, now you can get an iPhone App containing a compilation of Jones strips dating back to the first one. Also included are a few images created before Jones was in my head at all.
This App was developed by Morten Thomsen of Oxicomics, a Norwegian company that created a way of delivering comics on the iPhone smooth and easy. As a non-iPhone person (still cherishing my cup and string setup, even with its limited range), I was skeptical, but converted a set of images and submitted them all the same. The week it came out, I checked it out on a friend’s iPhone and immediately got it. Even though the iPhone can access Cartoon Thunder from nearly anyplace, this $0.99 (less than a buck) app makes it easy to navigate, peruse, and show them off, thereby spreading the good news of Cartoon Thunder simply and easily.
Interestingly enough, it looks better on the iPhone than anyplace I’ve seen it. See if I’m wrong-buy it and check it out yourself!
